sat
Saturday morning, woke up kinda early and tompang colleague's car to Furama Hotel. This time round, a workshop about basic skin care (mainly on sun protection and anti-oxidation) is organised especially for us, to introduce to us the Skinceutical line which they use in their spa. Well but essentially all those information you could have easily picked them up from a book written by dermatologists. I read one (written by a Singaporean doctor) and it's pretty informative and good. After reading, you'll be convinced to wear sun-block everywhere you go. Haha. The products seem pretty good, but undoutedly very expensive. We had this DIY facial and it was really fun. But we had to wear this stupid head band thingy provided and the therapist pulled back almost all my hair very tightly to the back which made me feel really weird and 'exposed'. And they even took pictures. ZZZ. But it feels really good to pamper yourself with all those creams, scrubs, toner, cleansers, mask on against your skin. It feels really really good, would have been much better if my hair wasn't pulled into an ugly mess when there are like soo many people watching you (the speaker, all the helpers, the hotel staffs, the therapists etc.). Afterwards, there was this short 5 minute massage which was kinda bad because the therapist don't have much strength. And we proceeded to their restaurant where we had international buffet. All in all, I felt like almost like a wealthy lil woman that day. Hhaaha. And I won a 60 bucks voucher to the spa, YEA!
