unsettling
BGR topics are pretty hot among my colleagues which i guess should be pretty natural. They've been trying to matchmake me.. like introduce me to their would-be doc or lawyer son. Today is really quite mad lei. This guy, 30+ and married go about how i can find a bf, from which particular department etc.. Then he came up with this joke that he wants to be my boyfriend and sorta announced it to the world. -_-" And then goes on to blabber about the advantage of going out with a matured and financially stable guy like him. And he roped in a few more candidates in our office and created this awkward gap between me and some of the guys. So now, whenever i talk to a young guy in the office, people wil notice me and start to giggle and gossip, even when i'm talking to them as part of my job scope. I mean this kinda teasing stuffs is really really common in school la. But in the office hor, i'm like really much much younger than many of them lei and it feels really weird and sometimes uncomfortable when they say this kinda thing because i would expect them to behave and treat me how a mature adult (e.g a relative) would. There's this ah pei very disgusting, when he saw me, he told me he got miss me. And I'm like totally WTH! Disgusting to the core !!!. My mentor told me some married guys are very hiao and likes flirting and disturbing girls. Well, at least they should target girls nearer to their age, he's old enough to be my grandfather..So sometimes, these comments can be quite unsettling.
And that ah pei is really one odd ball. He told me that if i want to marry his son, i must convert to a christian because their family consist of strictly staunch christians. -_- FYI he is the one i've been talking about, the one who is highly prejudiced, a racist, nationalist, and anti any religions other than christianity. He was also the one who claimed toa pek gong walked out of the temple when his great-granduncle or watever passed by the temple. Really one oddball.
And today is pretty funny. My colleagues bought us 'zhu chang fen' and we actually sneaked into the storeroom to eat la.
Then there's also this angmoh who's quite annoying oso. He gave me his 2 organisers,when i told him that diary would cost alot outside. Yea maybe i shouldn't have taken it. He's been botherin me so many times to let me see what 'secrets' I've written in there. Even when he's talking to his superiors and i walk pass them, he'll begin to complain i won't let him see the diary. -__-". I mean you gave me the diary voluntarily. I didn't even make the request. Now he's bothering me non-stop la. ZZZZZZZ. This is a classic case of a joke being carried too far and too long that it wears me out and is no longer funny.
